At least 6 more people have lost their lives within the last 24 hours with over 130,000 households displaced to the floods so far. This comes even as Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has assured flood victims of the government's support in response to the emergency caused by the floods, and Parliament has now been tasked to fast-track the enactment of the disaster management bill.
