Three suspects linked to cattle theft lynched in Bureti, Kericho

Three suspected cattle thieves have been lynched by members of the public in Yakwai Cheplanget in Bureti, Kericho County The suspects are a a driver of canter lorry which was believed to have been used in ferrying the stolen cattle, a woman whose compound was acting as the stolen cattle holding yard and her brother.They were attacked by irate locals after the truck, suspected to be used in ferrying stolen livestock was found parked near their home. The truck was torched, and driver attacked for allegedly attempting to run over a local chief before landing in a ditch. 9 cows that were stolen were identified by their owners and recovered.
