Kenyans living with HIV protest against Senator Omtatah’s case seeking to block US funding

People living with HIV in Nairobi County have called on the judiciary to dismiss a case challenging a 208 billion shillings US government funding for Kenya’s health sector. Tens of Kenyans living with HIV took to the streets of Nairobi on Friday in a demonstration against the case which was filed at the High Court last December by Busia Senators Okiya Omtatah. The groups warn that blocking the funds could reverse years of gains and put over 1.4 million Kenyans at risk.
