Iftiin FM Radio Station, an affiliate of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation that broadcasts in the Somali language, in partnership with the Department of Special Programmes, has donated assorted foodstuffs and essential commodities to Najah Children’s Home in Garissa County. Speaking during the handover ceremony, Iftiin FM Head of Department, Khassim Adan said the donation was a demonstration of the corporation’s commitment to giving back to society especially to vulnerable and less privileged members of the community. The gesture is also part of activities slated to mark the station’s 10th anniversary.
