President William Ruto has called on the Dawoodi Bohra community to deepen its partnership with government as Kenya accelerates its push to become a first-world economy, citing the community’s growing role in housing, healthcare, education, infrastructure and human capital development.The President says Kenya’s journey from a developing to a first-world economy will only succeed through strong partnerships with credible investors, institutions and communities that are already embedded in the country’s social and economic fabric. Speaking during an official visit to the Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah campus in Karen, Nairobi, the President praised the Dawoodi Bohra community for what he described as quiet but consistent contributions that have uplifted lives and strengthened national cohesion for generations.
