Exhumed 'GSU officer' in Rongo reveals remains of a woman

What began as a family’s fight to bury their son with dignity has taken a disturbing turn in Rongo, Migori county. After months of court battles, violent clashes, and unanswered questions, police enforcing a court order exhumed a grave believed to contain the body of a General Service Unit officer, Dan Ayoo. Instead, police found a different body, raising fresh questions about the circumstances around the burial which was done inside a church compound in Migori County, where the officer was presumed to have been secretly buried last year.
