Accelerating Action for the Elimination of Child Labour Organisation, in collaborating with the Department of Public Prosecution (ODPP) are crafting an Act of Parliament and a prosecution handbook in a bid to ensure justice for children when they find themselves in a court of law.
Accel Africa National Project Coordinator Helen Rintari revealed that the organisation, a project of the International Labour Organisation, has been carrying out capacity building for ODPP on prosection of children, a move that will boost the existing laws, including the Children's and the Employment Act, in the fight against child labour.
