Salasya criticises Ruto over defence of Social Health Authority

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has criticised President William Ruto for defending the Social Health Authority (SHA) despite growing outrage over alleged fraud. In a statement on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Salasya said Kenya’s leadership problems begin at the top and questioned how the president still believes SHA is effective despite the allegations.
