Senate Speaker Amason Kingi on Thursday, August 28, 2025, ruled in favour of Kericho Governor Eric Mutai in his ongoing impeachment trial. The Speaker allowed Mutai’s legal team, led by Katwa Kigen, to call ICT expert Mr. Oguya to testify, following a heated debate with the County Assembly’s lawyers.
