Alai backs Govt on E-procurement system amid opposition

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has defended the national government’s plan to roll out an electronic procurement system across both levels of government, dismissing opposition to the move as being driven by corrupt officials. Alai argued that the e-GP platform is the best reform to address pending bills and curb manipulation in procurement processes.
