AISHA JUMWA QUITS UDA, ACCUSES PARTY LEADERSHIP OF HUMILIATION OVER KILIFI GUBERNATORIAL BID

Former Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa has officially left the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), citing frustration and humiliation over her 2027 Kilifi gubernatorial ambitions. Speaking at her Kakuyuni residence in Malindi, Jumwa said she made the difficult decision after repeated attempts to seek support and address her concerns were unsuccessful. She accused UDA leadership of denying her a political platform despite being among the party’s founding members and a key campaigner for the Kenya Kwanza administration.
