BISHOP CALLS FOR DIALOGUE TO END SIAYA HEALTH WORKERS’ STRIKE

Retired Anglican Bishop Joseph Otieno Wasonga has called on the Siaya County Government and healthcare workers to urgently return to dialogue and resolve the grievances that have led to the withdrawal of labour in public health facilities. Speaking during a medical camp at Siriwo in Central Gem, Bishop Wasonga said the ongoing industrial action is denying ordinary citizens access to essential healthcare, with vulnerable groups bearing the greatest burden.
