CS blames City Hall for South C building collapse as second body is recovered

Lands cabinet secretary Alice Wahome is tonight blaming Nairobi County for illegally approving extra floors on the collapsed South C building, calling it “gross negligence.” Cs Wahome warned county officials, the contractor, and other officers involved that they will “carry the cross” when investigations are complete. The warning comes moments after the body of the second security guard trapped in the rubble was recovered, ending days of grueling recovery operations.
