CS OPARANYA CAUTIONS MIGORI COFFEE FARMERS AGAINST MIDDLEMEN AND CROSS-BORDER SALES

Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Wycliffe Oparanya has urged coffee farmers in Migori to avoid selling their produce across the border, warning that middlemen could exploit them and reduce their earnings. Speaking in Suna West during an empowerment programme organised by Suna West MP Peter Masara, Oparanya encouraged farmers to explore the Kenyan market and take advantage of government programmes such as the Cherry Fund.
