Detectives dust Kiprotich’s vehicle for fingerprints

Nakuru-based detectives from the Forensic Crime Scene Investigation Unit have dusted and lifted fingerprints from Standard Group Associate Editor Alex Kiprotich’s vehicle as they seek to unravel his abduction ordeal at the Gilgil weighbridge. Kiprotich arrived at the police station accompanied by his legal representative and a colleague, who have all filed official reports regarding the incident. The development comes as Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen dismissed claims of a parallel police unit operating outside the official command structure.
