GOVERNMENT PUSHES FOR SPEEDY GAZETTEMENT OF E-PROCUREMENT REGULATIONS

The government has called for the speedy finalisation and gazettement of regulations governing electronic government procurement to strengthen transparency, accountability and professionalism in the management of public resources. Principal Secretary in the State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management Cyrelle Odede Wagunda says a strong legal framework will provide certainty and consistency in implementing the electronic government procurement system.
