GOVERNMENT UNVEILS FIRST NATIONAL MIGRATION POLICY TO PROMOTE SOCIAL COHESION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

The Government has intensified efforts to reshape public perceptions of migration through the development of Kenya’s first-ever National Migration Policy. Speaking during a county stakeholder consultation workshop in Mombasa, Deputy Director of Immigration Services Dorcas Mosoti said the policy seeks to harness the economic and social benefits of migration while promoting peaceful coexistence between host communities and foreign nationals.
