Isiolo teachers demand release of capitation funds before schools reopen

Led by the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Isiolo Branch Executive Secretary Hassan Diba Halakhe and Chairman Timothy Kimathi Mbae, the teachers expressed concern after Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi stated that the Government may struggle to sustain the high cost of free basic education.
