Kenya Power MD: We Want to Facilitate, Not Compete, in E-Mobility Rollout

Kenya Power has affirmed its commitment to supporting the rollout of electric mobility infrastructure across the country, saying its role will remain largely facilitative. The utility firm said it is ready to provide infrastructure support to developers and step in where charging stations are lacking, but stressed it does not intend to compete with private sector players in the e-mobility space. Kenya Power maintained that its focus is to complement existing players and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles through strategic support and collaboration.
