National Assembly Communication, Information and Innovation Committee Chair and Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie has called for the transformation of digital hubs across Kenya into centres of employment, innovation and entrepreneurship for young people.
Speaking during an inspection tour of digital hubs in Kilifi and Likoni constituencies, Kiarie said the facilities should go beyond basic computer training and equip young people with marketable digital skills, online employment opportunities, entrepreneurship knowledge and the ability to develop digital solutions.
