LAIKIPIA NORTH YOUTH TURN TO SPORTS TO FIGHT DRUG AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE

Youth in Laikipia North Sub-County are using sports as a tool to prevent drug and substance abuse. Hundreds of young people participated in football activities at Ilmotiok on Saturday, saying sports are helping keep them away from narcotics, including khat, commonly known as mugakaa, which they say is prevalent in the area.
