Made in Kenya: Kisumu firm champions smart waste management

Kisumu County has stepped up efforts to sustainably manage waste, especially within the populous Kisumu City. This includes the establishment of Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and partnering with private enterprises. One such enterprise is M-TAKA, a venture leveraging technology to reach as many estates as possible within Kisumu city and sensitise residents on proper waste management.
