Residents of Suna West Constituency in Migori County are calling on young people to reject political violence and resist attempts by politicians to use them to cause unrest ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during the launch of a peace campaign, the residents emphasized the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence and responsible leadership. They warned that some politicians exploit unemployed youth by offering small sums of money to participate in violence, urging them instead to protect their future and promote peace in their communities.
