Village elders in Migori County have thanked President William Ruto for implementing a Sh3,000 monthly stipend, saying the move recognises their contribution to grassroots administration and community development. The elders, who spoke in Awendo, said they have for years served communities by resolving disputes, responding to local issues and helping connect residents with government services.
