In a move to revolutionize education and environmental conservation, the Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University in Thailand and Kenya`s Ministry of Education, in partnership with the Green Africa Foundation, have entered into a partnership that aims to broaden access to education as well as putting in place mechanisms to conserve the environment and the ecosystems at large. In a virtual ceremony, the agreement will establish a structured open learning format that will enable beneficiaries’ study how Thailand has managed to structure into economy through education.
