Mohamed Warsame appointed new supreme court judge

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has nominated Justice Mohamed Warsame as the new Supreme Court judge following the conclusion of interviews earlier today. Justice Warsame was among six judges who applied for the position, with five of them shortlisted. The position of the Judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya fell vacant following the death of Justice Mohamed Ibrahim in December last year.
