National Assembly has approved the appointment of the nominees to the National Cohesion and Integration Commission, who include the Chairperson and Commissioners positions, with MPs indicating that the commission has its work cut out. While considering the report, MPs challenged the new commission to be wary of the current political temperatures in the country and nip any misconduct in the bud ahead of the 2027 general election.
