The Kenyan government has confirmed that major infrastructure projects in Nairobi are progressing according to schedule, with some expected to be completed ahead of time. During an inspection tour led by Nairobi Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha, officials visited the Green Park Pedestrian Underpass, Talanta Sports City, and the Bomas International Convention Centre (BICC) to assess construction progress, security, and implementation. The government says nearly 5,000 young people have been employed across the three flagship projects, with more than 2,500 working at the BICC alone. Officials also highlighted enhanced security measures to protect workers during construction and safeguard the facilities once completed.
