NEW DWU LEADERSHIP PLEDGES TO IMPROVE WELFARE OF DOCK WORKERS

The newly elected officials of the Dock Workers Union (DWU) have pledged to work closely with the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) to improve workers’ welfare and promote better working conditions for port workers across the country. Speaking after assuming office at the DWU headquarters along Jomo Kenyatta Avenue in Mombasa, the new team, led by General Secretary Abukar Mohamed, called on KPA management to embrace genuine dialogue in resolving issues affecting dock workers.
