Nyamira and Kisii delegates declare support for Matiang’i presidency

Delegates of the Kenya Social Congress Party from Nyamira and Kisii counties have declared their support for former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i in his bid for the presidency in 2027.Speaking during a party meeting, KSC chairman Atati Kengere said the delegates had resolved to rally behind Matiang’i, describing him as a son of the soil capable of offering alternative leadership at the national level. Kengere noted that the party would mobilize support across the two counties to back Matiang’i’s presidential ambitions.
