ODM Party Leader Oburu Odinga thanked President William Ruto for establishing an ICT hub and outsourcing centre, saying he had once attempted a similar project using CDF funds but it did not go far because the CDF committee did not fully understand the initiative. Speaking jokingly, he said he believes the project is one of the ways that could take Kenya “to Canaan through Singapore,” highlighting the potential of technology and outsourcing jobs for the country’s future.
