OVER 1,000 LAIKIPIA YOUTH TO BENEFIT FROM NYOTA ON JOB TRAINING PROGRAMME

More than 1,000 unemployed youth in Laikipia County are set to gain valuable artisan skills through the NYOTA On Job Experience Programme, a six-month training initiative aimed at improving employability and promoting self-reliance. The programme will equip young people, including teenage mothers, with practical skills in areas such as barbering, welding, beauty therapy, ICT and other technical fields through apprenticeship opportunities.
