More than 2,500 residents from Kisii and neighbouring counties have benefited from a week-long free orthopaedic medical camp held at Nyanchwa Adventist Mission Hospital, courtesy of the Mairura Family Foundation of Dallas, USA.
The camp provided specialised orthopaedic care, including multiple hip and knee replacement surgeries. Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary Stephen Isaboke commended the Mairura Family Foundation for partnering with the hospital to expand access to quality healthcare.
