Police deployed in Kitengela to restore calm after boda boda riders clash

One bodaboda rider in Kitengela is fighting for his life after a violent clash at the town’s bus park. The victim, Steve Mugirango, is admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital in critical condition following a confrontation between rival groups of riders over operating rules and leadership disputes. Police say the violence erupted after new riders attempted to operate at the bus park without following Sacco procedures.
