Democracy for Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has come to the defence of Kiambu governor Kimani Wamatangi, saying the recent attacks on businesses are politically instigated. Gachagua said that the party will stand behind Wamatangi politically. Meanwhile, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has called on the Mt. Kenya community to remain united and honour past political pact if it is to retain relevance and bargaining power in national politics.
