Professor Paul Wainaina retires as Kenyatta University Vice Chancellor

Professor Paul Wainaina has retired as the Vice-Chancellor of Kenyatta University after completing his term in office. Professor John Okumu has been appointed the Acting Vice-Chancellor. Speaking during the handover ceremony, Prof. Wainaina said his leadership was marked by numerous challenges, which he overcame through commitment and the support from the university community. Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. John Okumu, who served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs for ten years, pledged to build on Prof. Wainaina’s leadership legacy.
