The Ronald Ngala Tourism Training Institute is set to officially begin operations in September, with 1,000 students expected to enrol in the first phase. The institute, located in Vipingo, Kilifi County, is 95 percent complete after nearly 12 years of construction. Principal Secretary for Tourism Julius Bitok said the institution will be among the most unique training centres in Africa due to its modern infrastructure and courses focused on tourism and the blue economy.
