Ruto Defends SHA, Denies Ghost Hospital Fraud

President William Ruto has dismissed claims that the Social Health Authority (SHA) is paying ghost hospitals, insisting that the digital system is specifically designed to curb fraud. Speaking at the State House after meeting grassroots leaders from Kiambu, Ruto said the digitisation process is already unmasking irregularities that crippled the defunct NHIF, including fraudulent claims and fictitious facilities.
