Ruto orders Tata Chemicals out of Magadi

We begin in the the salt lake town of Magadi in Kajiado town and tonight President William Ruto has ordered Indian multinational Tata Chemicals out of the soda ash mines, accusing the company of failing to honour its obligations to the people of Magadi. The President made the announcement on the first day of his tour of Kajiado County. In an earlier statement, Tata Chemicals Magadi said it had complied with all directives issued by the government.
