SCHOOLS URGED TO EMBRACE STUDENT ELECTIONS TO NURTURE FUTURE LEADERS

The Ministry of Education has been urged to incorporate student elections into education policies to nurture responsible leadership, promote civic responsibility and reduce unrest in schools. Bright International Academy Principal Dan Odongo said student elections give learners a voice in school leadership while preparing them for future democratic participation. IEBC officials also encouraged eligible Kenyans to register as voters ahead of the 2027 General Election.
