SIAYA NURSES DEFY RETURN TO WORK ORDER, DEMAND 7 MONTHS’ SALARY ARREARS

Nurses in Siaya County have vowed to continue their industrial action despite a return-to-work order issued by KNUNM Secretary General Seth Panyako. The nurses took to the streets of Siaya town, storming the governor’s office and the county assembly, demanding the payment of seven months’ salary arrears and restoration of a comprehensive medical insurance scheme.
