Sigei backs E-procurement, claims it will end nepotism in county tenders

Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei has defended the government’s e-procurement directive, saying it will end favouritism in county tender awards. He claimed the system will stop governors from awarding lucrative contracts to their girlfriends, boyfriends, and close associates at the expense of deserving contractors.
