Rescue and recovery efforts are ongoing across South and Southeast Asia as devastating floods continue to claim lives and displace millions. Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Thailand have recorded staggering death tolls, with at least 334 people killed in Sri Lanka, 502 in Indonesia, and 170 in Thailand following days of relentless rains, cyclones, and landslides. Nearly one million people in Sri Lanka alone have been affected, with close to 200,000 displaced into shelters after Cyclone Ditwah triggered widespread destruction.
