State secures Ksh 75M grant to boost geothermal development

The government has signed a partnership with the French Development Agency, AFD, that will provide a 75 million shillings grant to develop the country’s geothermal resources. The funding will enable Kenya Electricity Generating Company, KenGen, and the Geothermal Development Company, GDC, to deliver projects that support national development through clean energy.
