Uganda Eletions I President Museveni leading with more than 70 percent of votes counted

Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine has been placed under house arrest a day after elections that early results show the incumbent Yoweri Museveni firmly in the lead at 76 percent of votes counted so far. The vote followed a tense campaign marked by internet shutdown on the eve to the election. Museveni has ruled Uganda for 40 years .
