Eregi Teachers' Training College in Kakamega County has launched a cultural enrichment program aimed at educating students on various Kenyan traditions and nurturing talent among the youth.
Chief Principal, Dancan Okwaro, said that the cultural festival aligns with the Competency-Based education and serves as a platform for identifying and nurturing emerging talent among trainee teachers. He further noted that many students possess diverse talents which, if well-developed, can help instill positive values in the younger generation and foster stronger community ties.
