Principal Secretary for the State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Stephen Isaboke, has urged young people to take advantage of the economic empowerment initiatives provided by the government to create gainful opportunities. He expressed optimism over the registration of approximately 29,000 youth for the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) program in Kisii County. Meanwhile, PS for Culture, The Arts and Heritage, Ummi Bashir, who oversaw the exercise in Wajir County, reaffirmed the government’s dedication to uplifting the youth through the NYOTA initiative.
