The business community in Malindi, Kilifi County has launched an initiative to mobilize funds to support the treatment of breast cancer patients in the area.Speaking during the breast cancer fundraiser dinner, Director of Night of Hope and Strength Charity Karimi said the program also seeks to create awareness on the need for early screening and diagnosis of the disease. They also appealed to the government to streamline the Social Health Authority (SHA) and fully cover treatment of all types of cancers.
