Rights groups petition foreign missions to intervene in release of abducted Kenyans in Uganda

Human rights organisations have petitioned several diplomatic missions to intervene in securing the release of Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, two Kenyan nationals who were abducted nearly a month ago in Uganda. Amnesty international, vocal Africa, and the law society of Kenya are urging missions from the European union, the united states, the United Kingdom, and other partners to pressure the governments of Uganda and Kenya to immediately disclose the whereabouts of the missing duo. 1he groups have also raised alarm over the condition of the two, citing credible reports that Njagi and Oyoo 's health is deteriorating and they require urgent medical attention.
