Reigning Kenya Cup champions Kabras Sugar showed class when they beat Menengai Oilers 33-12, to retain their enterprise cup title in an exciting final at the Nakuru Ask showground. Kabras charged to a 15-0 half-time lead courtesy of tries by Walter Okoth and Alfred Okoth, with Ntabeni Dukisa adding a penalty and a conversion. Dukisa stretched Kabras' lead to 18-0 with another penalty, but oilers reduced the deficit to 18-7. Kabras regained control with Gabriel Odero's try and Dukisa's conversion to make it 25-7, before Alfred Orege made it 30-7 with another try. Samuel Ovwamu crossed for oilers to cut the deficit to 30-12, but Kabras had the final say when Dukisa slotted home a penalty to seal a 33-12 victory and the bragging rights.
